About Me

Hi there! I’m Nate, an instructional designer living in southern New Hampshire. I’ve been working in the Learning and Development world since 2009. I believe that through holistic, thoughtful training design, organizations can break down obstacles to greater productivity, stronger people skills, and career mobility.

My most recent role as an instructional designer at TIAA allowed a great deal of ownership over the creative direction of learning projects, and as a result I consistently delivered high-quality, engaging learning solutions.

What I Do

I specialize in designing learning experiences that help employees develop the business skills needed to grow in their careers.

My work often focuses on:

  • blended learning programs

  • professional development and leadership readiness

  • visual learning tools that simplify complex ideas

  • creative learning formats such as podcasts and multimedia

I particularly enjoy working on projects that help employees expand their capabilities and pursue new opportunities within their organizations.

Some fun stuff about me

  • Lifelong Learner

Curiosity fuels creativity, and I love to learn. Podcasts, documentaries, books, museums, I love learning about all kinds of topics, and I bring this love of learning and curiosity to my work.

  • Boardgame enthusiast

Few things are better than an evening at the table with good friends and a fun game. At last count, our collection stands at 67 games. I’ve always got an eye out for a few more to add to the shelf. Drop me a line and I’ll share a link to my collection on boardgamegeek.com.

  • Kinda quirky

Obscure pop culture references. Cult movie quotes. An eclectic taste in music. A somewhat-large number of Hawaiian shirts. I like to have fun, and sometimes weird is fun!
